As populations grow the struggle for resources becomes competitive. The five chiefs of what will be later know as the Pee Posh gathered and discussed option for their continued strife with the Mohaves to the north and the Yumas to the south. The people were growing tired of war and sought other options. Finally a chief rose from the crowd and spoke to his people about leaving.
“Thing are not good,” he said, and stated he was taking his people west, “way West.”
