At the meeting another chief decide it was best for his group of people to leave.

“I will do the same thing, but we will head to Xi:yl River (Gila River). ” said the Chief.

So the people traveled south to the Gila River and settle in a place East of Mohawk (north and east of Mohawk Mt.) This place later became known as Kaveltcadom (it stretch along the Gila River from Mohawk Mountains to Gila Bend). The peoples stayed for one growing season, then left.

The people then traveled to the Middle Gila south of modern day Phoenix.
